Advanced Turkey Trot
The Advanced Turkey Trot plan is for committed runners who can confidently jump into running about 30 miles per week and work up to around 40 miles per week (there are options to shorten or lengthen this by about 5-15 miles per week as needed).
This is a 5 week plan culminating in a Thanksgiving Day 5k race. There are 2 workouts per week and 6 total days of running per week.
The plan includes a daily plan for the 6 weeks, an overview of the training philosophy, a vision for race day, definitions of training paces, and a protocol for workouts and race day.
